The StarAI Arm stole the spotlight at AdventureX 2025, kicking off a new journey in robotics innovation.

AdventureX and Seeed Studio successfully hosted China’s largest-ever hackathon at the Lakeside Innovation Center in Hangzhou, drawing over 800 young developers, designers, and innovators.
Under the theme “Open to Everyone, Celebrate Innovation Together,” Seeed Studio showcased our LeRobot Star Arm robotic arms (Viola/Violin), whose outstanding performance and innovative design stole the show.
Robotic Arm Highlights
The LeRobot Star Arm features a 470 mm reach, 6 + 1 degrees of freedom, and a 300 g payload capacity. Powered by brushless servos, its modular gripper offers a 660 mm opening range, 10 N gripping force, and a convenient one-touch hold function. Compatible with ROS 2, MoveIt 2, and Python/C++ development, it provides participants with extensive development resources—perfect for AI training and educational applications.

Seeed Studio showcased the LeRobot Star Arm as a key highlight of the event. With its path-planning capability and open-source SDK, the robot arm empowered participants to quickly build and deploy intelligent grasping applications. Its open design seamlessly integrates with Seeed’s hardware ecosystem, sparking creativity and inspiring new ideas on-site.
