PiPER Mate is an open-source robotic arm teleoperation project for real-time remote control of a Piper robotic arm. It supports ROS 2 Humble, the LeRobot framework and Python SDK control modes, making it suitable for robot learning research, AI training-data collection, teleoperation teaching and robotics development.

The project supports teleoperation up to 100 Hz, automatic joint mapping, built-in safety protection and optional coordinated gripper control.
