Detailed Damping Mode and Applications
This mode allows the servo to be adjusted to different angle positions under external force while maintaining a certain damping effect. The damping coefficient can also be customized.
It is often used for robotic arm teaching and for releasing force from the servo.
In the following video, the case simulates a cover-plate application.
The cover plate falls freely under gravity. When the servo is in damping mode, it applies a damping effect to the falling cover plate.
The example demonstrates how different damping coefficients affect the free-fall speed of the cover plate.
